I too started out very quickly on the rite side of the curve playing $1/$2 NL on-line. Some $2400 US up then lost about half of it in 50 hrs about 2500 rnds of play. Does anyone know how much bank is needed to play this sort of game. I'm avg to good.

thanks

Average players lose. No bankroll would be sufficient to avoid going bankrupt with high probability.

If you are crushing the games, make sure you have 10 buy-ins. If you are winning less, you might need 20-40 buy-ins.

Once you have played enough hands, be prepared to drop down quickly when your bankroll is only about variance/edge.
