I've been wondering what is the best way to maximize profit after hitting a draw headsup with the opponent acting after you. To make this easier to understand I'll outline a hand I played earlier.
(don't know the # so I'll do my best)
Party 3/6
Hero - AKs, early position. Raise preflop, folded to button who calls, everyone else folds.

flop A J 3 rainbow
Hero bets, Button calls.

turn T - no flush draw
Hero bets, Button raises, Hero calls.

river Q - [A Q J T 3]

Would you go for the check-raise or bet out?
I understand it is player specific, but on party against someone you don't have a read for, what would you do?

Thanks all,
JKratzer

I would bet, because if this guy doesn't have a K, you'll get checked behind. If he does, he might raise and you'll split anyway. He might call his two pair or set. So I think betting is the best option.

I'd bet. Every hand you'd have raised pre-flop with and come this far with likely beats your opponent's set or two pair now. I doubt he'll bet, but he might call a bet.
