Graphical Proofs of my chips from pokerchips.com

It seems they have been quite busy sending proofs out since there have been a few posts before mine with others proofs =)

Here is the first proof for my chips. I have asked that they change the Hades and Reaper chips to be darker backgrounds then just white, and that the Hades font be more...sinister I guess you could say. Other then that, I really like the way they turned out.

They supplied everything there.

Purgatory wasnt working out well concept wise, so I switched to the Reaper. I figured he fits in there, Heaven, Hell and the guy who puts you there.

3 Denoms should be fine for the very small home games I play. I am only getting 300 chips at the moment, with future plans to get another 300 to fill out the set sometime down the road. Right now though, we only play at max 6 person tournies and I am getting 300 cheap chips of one color to serve as the bottom denomination if needed.

Can't say the themes for me but they turned out good. The reaper seems a little small but the sickle's excellent. I like the two sided design and I agree with the more sinister font... doesn't MS Word have a creepy font that looks like dripping blood? The angels ok but I might ask if they have another one. I like your royal flush over casinogains' too. I thought the hand for Hades would be 72o /images/graemlins/grin.gif. Why the 7's for heaven? Could almost do the royal in hearts here and run bullets (AcAs) for the reaper.

As I said not for me but cool nonetheless.

The 7s on the Heaven chip are because as 666 is the number of the beast, 777 is the number of the holy child. 7th son of a 7th son and all that /images/graemlins/smile.gif The Reaper is a Royal Flush of spades because death always wins in the end.

I can appreciate the theme not being for everyone, and honestly I am not a religious type person at all, just the theme and things of that nature have always held a high interest for me.

I like the look, turned out better than I was expecting. What are the chips for the base? chipco?
Aren't the artwork fees a bit outrageous for only 100 chips of each denom (or for each demon)

Chips are from pokerchips.com which are ASM Horsehead mold chips.

There is no fee for artwork, just .95 cents a chip. There is a $50 fee for color art, no other hidden charges, which is why I like them.

Its a breakdown of 150/100/50 and the total is about $340 or so. Not a bad price at all for what you get.

Some thoughts:

1) You could arc the Hades and others to match the chip shape, similar to what's on the opposite side.

2) To get bigger pictures for the angel/reaper, could you split the Afterlife and Poker Room to be on opposite side of the chip? Afterlife curves left to right as it is, Poker Room the opposite side and concavity.

3) I can't decide if there is a background color that would be good for each chip- light orange, gray and light yellow or blue? White just seems a bit plain... but the designs might come out better than way on the chips.

I also think these came out better than I thought that they would when you described them.

I actually like the Hades/Heaven/Reaper not arc'd heh personal preference though.

I would think splitting the Afterlife Poker Room line to top and bottom would leave less room for the pictures. It would open up some room to the left and right, but would leave less room in the middle.

As far as background colors...I do know I dont want white as a background for the Hades and Reaper chips...the HEaven chip will be left white. I think I want more of at least a light greyish background for the Reaper and HAdes chips.

I sent some revisions and we will see what they send back to me.

I meant that you split them and put the words on either side of the figures, so you have more top/bottom space

Ah I understand. I will have them draw that up, but im not sure if I would like the words to the sides of the pics.
