UTG folds, MP calls t100, Hero folds.

Push neither, you have 14x BB. Bit too much to go pushing with.

I like the play on the first hand, I might call with fish, but either play works, IMHO. Raise to 3x BB on the second, maybe a bit less.

Thx. Any consensus on push stacks, generally speaking? 8xBB?

you definitely don't need to push the first one. especially with that caller.

the blinds still aren't that high. stealing the 100 BB in the 2nd situation won't improve your situation that much and you will almost only be called if you're beat. i think 10x BB is when you wanna be pushing.

with over 10xbb in both situations i wouldnt push with either.
