Fairly new to the tabble, so I have no real reads on either opponent.
Preflop:
MP openraises, folded to me. I 3-bet in the CO w/ T/images/graemlins/spade.gif T/images/graemlins/club.gif. SB calls semi-cold, BB folds. MP caps, we all call.
Flop: (12.5 SBs) T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif
MP bets, The Dude raises, SB calls cold. MP 3-bets, The Dude caps, intending to check behind any non-T turn. They both call.
Turn: (12 BBs) 5/images/graemlins/club.gif
SB checks, MP bets, The Dude folds.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you just fold the nuts on the turn?

Yeah, you gotta muck that if you don't improve to quads...??
So was the flop really Jack-high or something? I have to assume something got mistyped here

It's a very deceptive play, I bet NOBODY would put you on the set of tens!

I had to re-read this post several times to convince myself I wasn't insane.
I thought it may be a J high flop or whatever, but I don't see hero capping a J high flop. All I can say, is WTF?

He also spelled table "tabble", clearly he's still reeling after the Seahawks loss.

My first thought was "what in the HELL am I missing here?"
Man, I'm glad I haven't moved up to $5/$10 yet, the game seems to play quite a bit differently! ;P

Sorry, guys. 6-tabling and posting... bad thing. Flop was 982.
Add this to the growing list of my brilliant posts.

hey dude, obviously there is a typo here but lets assume you dont have a set. Why is your plan to check behind on the turn? Would you then be folding to a river bet unimproved?
If not it seems to make a lot more sense to just bet the turn and check behind on the river...

My confidence that there's anything good and right in this world was shattered yesterday.

wow you're on a roll... first the 66 hand, now this
but since you said the flop was 982, I like your line. Obviously, if the turn was a J or 7, you'd be in as well. if the flop was ragged, leaving you with no backdoor draw, I don't know that I'd like this line.

Yes, I'm folding unimproved on the river.

I capped the flop for a free card, not because I thought there was a chance my hand was good unimproved.
