Why are these never on Poker Room? I don't really want to open yet another poker account just to give you my money. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Because when the initial survey was done in January to find out if there was interest in the possiblilty of this series, what dollar amounts, what site, etc the majority of 2+2ers (by a large margin) preferred Poker Stars due to the initial stack sizes, the blind sizes, and the timing of the blind increases.

The structure does favor the better players. The reverse type structure: short stack, quick blind increase, balances the game more toward luck than skill. As a result you will find many of the better players on Stars. If you find the games tougher than on party or similar sites, that is normal and expected.

That does not imply that the same players do not "go fishing" on other sites, but Stars has been the site of choice.

Congrats to Byron for the win. The end of this game was more like a chessmatch than a poker game. Really well played by a lot of people. Note that places 1,3,4,5,6,&10 were all 2+2.

Glad to see Byron and HelmetSky again.
