Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed)

Need advice on the flop here...

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif. CO posts a blind of $5.
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO (poster) checks, Button folds, SB raises, Hero calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, CO folds.

Flop: (11 SB) K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 2/images/graemlins/club.gif (5 players)
SB checks, Hero...?

What´s my gameplan here?

Assume a typical PP 5-10 table...

You've got bad position if the SB bets the flop. I'd fold if the SB bets.

fold preflop

a check usually means either his hand is a monster or the flop killed his hand

I would check it because it will most certainly be bet behind you and watch what SB does when it gets back to him.
The trouble is your deuce isnt very likely the best right now nor is it likely to stay the best.

I think your gameplan should be to get in a time machine, hit the rewind button, and fold preflop.

Now that you're in the hand and didn't flop trips, a flush, or a full house, I would check/fold at the earliest opportunity.

This hand is just begging you to bleed off chips.

You would fold preflop getting 10:1 ?
What odds do you need to play this hand?

I'm looking for something a little connected or with a little high card power to make that call pre-flop. 72s has neither.

Flop is a fold too. Any pocket pair beats you and may call down just because. Not enough turn + river cards you're going to like.
