Just got smacked upside the head with the deck. 8 consecutive hands. All PP or AJ and up. Every hand hit. 2-pair x 2, set x 2, flush x 2 and 2 boats. On hand nine I released AQ on the turn.

This is prolly not that amazing to you old-timers, but I've never seen 8 consecutive hands at the same table all win and all go to SD to do it.

This post is not a brag, I did nothing to "earn" these pots, I just wonder what the odds of such a thing are.

I have yet to win a pot...

On the other hand, I have scored free pot in three consecutive occasions

play strip poker with hot chicks(or appropriate group) while pooring alcohol down them. You win every time.

Nice run though.

I think the most in a row I've ever won is 3. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

In a 1,000,000 hand TTH simulation with the "average" lineup, the LAG player's longest streak was 9 pots in a row, while the most pots in a row won by the tighter players was 5.

If you win on average 7% of all hands dealt to you, the probability of winning the next 8 in a row is .07^8 or about 1.7x10^9:1 (1.7 billion:1).

3 at the Foxwoods 5/10 Kill game. The second and third were kill pots so it was 30+ BBs in 3 hands.

Hi Bait,

My record is 10. 1 full round. From button to button. By the 9th hand, I had to admit that I called blind. It was a bad play and what you could classify as tilt, playing the rush sort of mentality. I had 4-7 offsuit and called a raise, smacked the board with 4-4-9. The 10th hand was pocket aces.

The whole table was going nuts after that hand. 11th hand I had 9-6 suited and finally missed when the board came A-10-2 all spades and i had no spades.

It was a 10-20 with a full kill and in those 10 hands I made well over $2500.

I'm pretty sure I've never gotten more than 3 in a row, and there's a very good chance I haven't even done that. So don't feel bad Ponks, I guess your still better than me (although I don't know how good that should really make you feel).
