PL HE. Blinds 0-0.

i get AA first to act, and limp for 0 for a trap play. all fold to SB, who checks, BB checks.

Flop comes 28J rainbow. SB let's out a loud "CHECK", BB belts out an even louder "CHECK", and in fear of a re-trap, I impotently reply, "check". Before thr turn comes, I announce to the blinds that i am willing to check to the river. They hoof, and nod in approval. Turn comes a 8. Check, Check, Check.

River: 4 offsuit. I am impelled to bet, but they both check and I'm afraid of a superslowplay, so i check again. Pot is Zero. I show my aces, and they all say "nice hand". I pat myself on the back for winning the pot.

I'm wondering how you all woulda played against "loud checkers".....

I think you played it absolutely perfectly. You can't ever be too careful with those large pots.

interesting hand. I would probably have mucked OUT OF TURN on the river; no need to press a hand that has two other players in the pot for 0 that may be trapping you.

Question: how many chips were on the table?

their loud checks were probably a sign of their severe boredom with this game
