Glen,

I am disturbed at what I think you are implying here.

And that is for online PL/NL issues or hands that we should be posting on the internet forum?

I feel the internet forum deals more with internet site issues and very little limit or game type specifics or hand histories. They do some but not much. There's also a lot of bitching and moaning about one thing or another.

You go to the Small Stakes forum and you see issues and hand histories from the internet sites. You go to the Medium/High Stakes forum and you see issues and hand histories from the internet sites. You go to the Short Handed/Heads Up forum and you see issues and hand histories from the internet sites.

And then I go to the PL and NL forum and I see your question...???

I have not once seen Mason direct players from these forums to the intenet forum because the games they're discussing are being played at an internet site.

I guess you get my drift, huh?

I feel more comfortable and get much more credible input about PL/NL from this forum than the internet one.

I don't see NL/PL players like yourself and Greg (just to name a couple), posting much or any on the internet forum. And I know Greg plays at UB, I've seen him there.

I hope you're not giving "selective" or "conditional" responses. Meaning you'll give your thoughts on situations or games dealing with "live" casinos or cardrooms only.

Do you think your game at Foxwoods, where there can be $50-$100k on the felt in a ring game is more important than my little PL game where the big stack may have $2.5K? Different incroments, same game. IMO both are important to the players involved.

Glen, I think you would play just as hard against me at UB, we both having a hundred dollars or 2 in front of us. Agree? If not, I'll send you my address and you can just mail me a check :>) LOL! (see I do have a sense of humor as well!)

I have been following this forum for a few months now and gained a lot of what I believe to be valuable thoughts from you and Greg and the many others that post here. I slowly started responding and even posted a couple of basic threads myself and received some good participation and input.

Last evening I posted a hand from UB and only got one response. Then I see your post this morning and I can't help but think it was directed towards me.

Glen, I hope I'm wrong about your message/question. And if I am wrong, I apologize for being gruff or harsh here. But if I am right, all I ask is that you (and others that may feel the same) please consider my thoughts.

The main reason I play poker is to win money. Be it live or online. That being satified, I have other reasons as well, but winning money is still my main focus.

I have many years experience in live PL HE, mostly small blinds $5-10. I feel I have something to offer here. But lately I started playing PL/NL HE at UB and that's where my focus has been.

The main reason I view and participate on Two Plus Two is actually 2-fold. Not necessary in order of importance...(1) to learn more about the game for which I have such a passion for...and (2) help others if I can.

Kind Regards,

There have been MANY discussions on which forum is best suited for online PL/NL. I think most people agree that this is the CORRECT forum.

The internet forum is mostly discussion of specific sites and all the scams and fun reading.

I will continue to post the occasional NL UB hand on this forum.

$100K on the table? Not in my games. Hell, here at Foxwoods there's rarely more than one other guy who has more than 2.5K on the table. And 5-10 blinds? That's a big game. Easy to win or lose quite a few thousand per night in such a game. Heck, I've 10K on the pot in a 3,5 blind PL HE game before.

Greg I was exaggerating a bit there.

The point I was trying to get across to Glen was that I thought he thought he was too good to comment on little online PL/NL games.

Maybe I should post after a losing session huh?

All he asked was a simple question and I guess I took it personal that's all.

I will add a note to the above. I think this is the proper forum for ALL pot- and no- limit questions, comments, hand postings etc. I do not play online so when someone has a online hand or question I usually leave it up to others to post responses. I find the hands interesting reading none the less.

Most of the time people state up front the hand is from online/internet or live play. Perhaps that should be a standard format in the subject heading - as a courtesy to others. For example: PL omaha-hi/internet 1/2 blinds or: NL AK question/online at UB or: Live PL-Hold'em QQ in BB.

Thus everyone knows up front what type of game the poster is playing in and wanting to discuss. Blind limits could be added if thought necessary.

As a personal note we have some good discussions on this forum, but it lags at times. We all need to work together to keep the forum running well for the benifit of EVERYONE. We can all learn from each other to improve our play - no matter what kind of PL or NL game we play.

I was really just asking the simple question, where do we, the posters and readers agree to put UB and other online PL and NL postings, here or on internet gambling.

The reason I ask is that a live NL or PL casino or cardroom game with blinds of $5 & $5 is a very different game than UB's .10 cent, $10.00 maximum buy-in game. The hands will be played very differently there by inexperienced players risking $10. In contrast, even a $1 $2 blind live casino game is going to consist of many players with several hundred dollars in their stacks.

I agree that the information, regardless of where it's posted is useful and interesting. But I think most would agree that the 2 types of games I'm descirbing are very different in the playing and combatants.

I was not trying t insult anyone, or belittle their postings. I just wanted to hear the general opinions of what is most appropriate.

Keep playing hard!

Glen,

I think the lowest buyin for NL or PL at UB is $0.10-$0.25 $25 max NL.

I know you were not trying to insult anyone or belittle their postings.

I was the one that was out of line.

Please see my new thread above on "Tilt, No Immunity".
