Got to post this early this week. About to leave for our annual Fall foliage trip to Vermont with the wife(don't laugh you young guys, as you get older you actually learn to enjoy a few things in life besides booze, broads and sports). Won't be back until later in the week and repotedly there are no computers at the country inn where we're staying. So knowing how popular this segment is each week(there must be at least 3 or 4 replies every week), here we go. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

There's no doubt that Boston is a baseball town. The Patriots are getting ready for what will be(can't see them blowing this against the Dolphins) a record 19 straight NFL wins. Of course the record will not be a record according the NFL as they only count regular season victories an a row for the official record. The Pats run of course includes the playoffs and Super Bowl. But it will be 16 in row regular season wins which will tie the record so we'll have to wait for the upstart Seahawks next week.

Despite all of this, there is hardly a peep about the Pats in the Boston/N.E. sports world. It's all Red Sox, so it's still primarily a baseball town imo.

After the games feel free to brag on your local entry. Especially eager to hear from you overly optimistic Seattle fans.

We are too busy dry-clicking pistols in our mouths to really discuss it rationally. Check back later in the week.
