I've discovered two books that deal with Pot/No limit holdem.

One by Ciaffone and Reuben and one by TJ Cloutier.

Wich one is best?

They both need to be read if you are interested in winning at the game. TJ's should be read first because it has more to do with fundamental concepts. Ciaffone's book is more about subtle concepts and has a more conversational tone.

My opinion is that they are both necessary investments. I found Ciaffone's book to be much more helpful with regard to my own play. I found TJ's book to be most helpful with regard to figuring out how other people play.

If you want something interesting to read about no limit hold'em, then both of these books are excellent choices.

If you see the purchase as an investment in your no limit skills, you should pass.

Experience is the only way to get better and beat the games, period. These books don't help much in that regard.
