Anyone else getting a little tired of all the Red Sox love of the last couple of years (other than Yankee fans). I'm from KC so I know a little bit about being a Yankee hater, 76,77, & 78.

I've always liked Boston, kinda as my second team in the AL (my old AL East team). Was a huge fan of the Rocket growing up and Fred Lynn. But it's starting to get a little old. I don't think I can stand to see Peter Gammons on TV again rambling on about Boston.

If Boston finally knocks of NY this year I'm not going to enjoy it like I would have just a few years ago or even last year.

I agree with you completely. It is hard not to like a team with such devoted fans, and yet...
there are a lot of teams that haven't won a championship in a long time. And Boston has the best football team in the country, one of the best of all time.
That said, I will root for the Sox against the Yankees every day and twice on Sunday.
