Any thoughts?

Bush looks better but how could he not?

Kerry looks good as well.

Bush is being very defensive in his comments. He is not making the faces he was in the last debate, but his demeanor will really turn off a lot of voters.

Kerry just promised to reduce the taxes on us peasants making less than less than $200k, while raising the taxes of those making more than $200K.

Yeah, right... /images/graemlins/grin.gif

False promises like that taught the Elder Bush a serious lesson.

[/ QUOTE ]Yup- he got the moderator visibly shaking after he rudely overruled him.

My favorite Bush quote so far:

"Is my time up yet?"

Yeah, just like the idiots on Party who try to tell you how to play when you beat their asses, Kerry has no clue.

"I have a plan, I have a plaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnn!!!! But of course I won't say tell you what it is. Did I mention I was in Vietnam yet? Oh yeah, that comes later. I'm John Keeerrry!!!! Vote for meeeee!! After all, I'm not Bush!!!"

I was just commenting on their respective demeanors. Bush just seems flustered and rattled.

This "Culture of Life" stuff is great for W.

The restrictions W. supports such as parental notification and partial birth abortion ban are widely supported by moderates. Only the extreme abortion on demand group supports no restrictions. Most Americans, even those considered pro-abortion, favor some restrictions.

From factcheck.org:

"President Bush himself would have qualified as a "small business owner" under the Republican definition, based on his 2001 federal income tax returns. He reported $84 of business income from his part ownership of a timber-growing enterprise. However, 99.99% of Bush's total income came from other sources that year. (Bush also qualified as a "small business owner" in 2000 based on $314 of "business income," but not in 2002 and 2003 when he reported his timber income as "royalties" on a different tax schedule.)"
