Button has 99.

You think he'd coldcall with something as good as 99? Try again. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

raise preflop, you aren't heads-up and you are reacting to a steal raise, so you will be put on a wider range of hands. Button's PF cold-call is worse. He probably has KK.

T9s to rape you with 2-pair.

Bah...so reraise preflop. Preflop mistake decent sized.

What about postflop? I thought 99 was possible but not likely -- I really don't have any sort of idea what constitutes a head's up coldcalling hand (I don't think such a thing really exists, actually). KK seemed much more likely than what he turned over. Check/call the river? Turn cap OK? Bad?

A little too aggressive for my liking. I'd call the turn 3-bet and check/call the river but maybe I'm not as aggressive as I ought to be. Didn't see the 22 coming. Pre-flop definitely a mistake but you'd have lost anyway regardless.
