BackdoorDraw in outs?

I´m just wondering how many outs a backdoorFlushDraw is worth? Cuz it is 23to1 that you get the flush if you got the backdoor on the flop I counted it as 2 outs. But now I starting to doubt that. Haven´t done the amth myself.

Also wondering about the backdoor str8Draw. And then of course both together, does it change anything or do you just add them?

If it's a 23-1 shot, explain how you figure it's worth 2 outs?

EDIT: I just realized this: that is the definition of 2 outs. BD flushes come in much less than this, however. That's what threw me.

cause 1 out is 46:1, and 2 outs is 46:2 = 23:1. (or am i missing something....)

Backdoor draws are worth a little less than that. The flush will come in about 2% of the time (1/50). The good thing about backdoor flushes and straights, is that if you get to see a cheap turn, you can let go of your hand if you miss.
