Iīm just wondering how many outs a backdoorFlushDraw is worth? Cuz it is 23to1 that you get the flush if you got the backdoor on the flop I counted it as 2 outs. But now I starting to doubt that. Havenīt done the amth myself.

Also wondering about the backdoor str8Draw. And then of course both together, does it change anything or do you just add them?

Anyone?

If it's a 23-1 shot, explain how you figure it's worth 2 outs?

EDIT: I just realized this: that is the definition of 2 outs. BD flushes come in much less than this, however. That's what threw me.

cause 1 out is 46:1, and 2 outs is 46:2 = 23:1. (or am i missing something....)

Backdoor draws are worth a little less than that. The flush will come in about 2% of the time (1/50). The good thing about backdoor flushes and straights, is that if you get to see a cheap turn, you can let go of your hand if you miss.
