quick search question, save time?

I've been trying to use the search function but everytime I do i get every 're:' I just want the one post without all the replies to that post.

Can you do this??

I wish I knew how to do this too, just return back the threads and not every single post.

Look under advanced search. Something to the effect of:
-re:
-Re:

but then again, I don't search too much.
