Question about Dell

Hey guys, somewhat off topic here.

I just placed an order on the 4th for another monitor from Dell. It said "ships within 24 hours". Now it says the estimated ship date is the 11th, which is a lot longer than 24 hours. Is this normal?

Does it usually take them some time to get it shipped?

I think they like to be cautious with their esimates. I ordered a monitor from them last thursday and got it monday.

*sigh* i was typing a detailed response and my browser crashed.... short version:

i ordered a monitor on the 4th also. shipped the 5th according to ups tracking its in my town and most likely will arrive tomorrow (friday). I live in vegas and it shipped from cali so...
