Bet the river.

If you'd call a bet on the river when you checked, I think betting the river is best. A8, etc., will continue to call you here.

With TPNK on a draw-friendly board and no redraws, I might be inclined to check-call and then rethink my line on the turn. If it's checked through, then you can bet the turn and river without fear.

I also think checking on the flop with the intention of raising a late bet is a solid line to take here as well.

i'm interested about what more of you think about checkraising a late bet as a "standard" play

Your hand is pretty vulnerable, and maybe you would be able to get overcards to fold if they had to face 2 bets cold rather than just one. Basically, it clears up more of the deck for your hand.
