View Full Version : O8. To quarter or not to quarter...

Baby O8 game at UB. I'm in the sb and pick up A233 rainbow. There is a baby raise to me and I call.

Flop: Kh 4d 6d

Not much for high, 5 gives me an ignorant straight. A 3 gives me a baby set. For low I have a nut lowdraw with protection.

Anyway, I check, BB who has been overaggressive for a while bets the pot. One caller, the rest folds. I call.

Turn: (5s) Kh 4d 6d

Okey. That was probably the best possible card for me I think. I fire the pot. Not wanting to give the BB player a free draw at the high if I'm leading. BB calls, the caller raises all in. I think a bit, his play indicates A2. So I feel I have him beat for high and tie his low. I'm almost all in if I call so I reraise all in. Trying to squeeze some extra cash out of the BB player. (Or get him to fold any hand with plenty of outs against me). He calls.

River: (Js) 5s Kh 4d 6d

Comments please.

I show first and BB mucks. Caller show Ad 2s 3d 7h. So we chopped the low and he took the high. I really wished he had raised his monster on the flop.

Sincerely, Andreas
