View Full Version : Any way to hack/mod the Party "hide me from search" function?

I know some ppl here are pretty good designing mods for the Party client...i notice that a lot of my favorite fish have caught on because I'd sit with them every day...so they've hidden themselves from the search function (b/c i still come across them even when a search doesn't show them as playing).
I suspect not, but any way to get around this??

They probably perform the search on the server, so there's no hack you could make to the client to get around this.

(Actually, I'm glad about that. This is different than just getting rid of the avatars or changing the cursor. This is hacking Party to gain an advantage.)

I didn't see that one, not sure what advantage it would provide, got a link?

I was saying that teddy's suggested hack would give someone an unfair advantage. I don't think the avatar or cursor hacks do.
