Party/Empire screen problem

When playing on Party or Empire, on a resolution less than 800x600, for some reason I get a black border on the bottom and right hand side of the table window. Anyone know why that is? I can't resize that window either.

It's just annoying trying to play 4 tables on 1600x1200, when I still have a bit of overlap because of the extended screen. Anyone know why this happens? Or how to fix it?

FWIW, I don't have that problem on Stars, their windows correctly resize for the different resolutions.

I'm not 100% sure if this will fix the problem, but, make sure the system font is set to normal size.

Right click on the desktop and choose properties.
On the Appearance tab, make sure Font Size is set to normal.

System font is normal already, so that wasn't the problem. Could it be a video card issue? Help me out, computer geniuses...

I have a Word doc file I can e-mail to someone if they want to see a screen shot. PM me for it. I don't have a way to host pics.

Display Properties > Settings > Advanced > [First tab to left]:

Change DPI settings to "Normal Size (96 DPI)". That should do it I think.
