Just curious...and what game do you play?

Dearborn Heights here. I primarily play online 15/30 and 100 or 200 SNG's. When I head downtown (pretty infrequent) I play 10/20 or 15/30 as well.

I'm up in White Lake, myself.

I've throttled down my online play quite a bit.

Outside of home games, I mostly play the $2-6 7 stud game at MCC on weekend nights, but I tried the $2-10 7 stud game at Greektown yesterday and found it to be delightfully soft. I used the profits to check out the new "lightning round" 10 player tourneys that are running there, but I wasn't that thrilled and I doubt I'll play them again.

Noal

I'm out near Ann Arbor. I play 2/4 online, and will make monthly (ideally) triped to Greektown for some 3/6 or 5/10 (I prefer the 3/6 because I'm a pansy, but I think the games are more or less the same so I'll take 5/10 if the list is much shorter).

im from jackson and while living there - i started playing at greektown---before the expansion. i played mainly 10-20 and some 15-30 the game didnt paly as frequently in jan.-feb. i did jump into the 20-40 several times but found the game to be a little to tough for me. i had a couple wins but 10-20 was much better for me. also
played in the 2-10 and 5-20 stud games a few times. i hopped in these while waiting for hold seats to open. i also played in the
5-10 plo one sunday (my biggest poker win)

ive moved to lansing though and mt. p is a little closer and the atmosphere is more relaxed. i play pretty much all the games they have there depending on the game and what mood im in.

i play online on ub---mainly just small and in mtt plo8, plo, nlhe, triple draw(its a nice break)

cheers

I'm in the Ann Arbor area...currently stuck between playing the college .25/.5 $20 buyin NL games and the greektown 2-2-5 NL game...are there any others around Ann Arbor spread a NL game somewhere in between this range?

I live in Troy. I've been playing low limit (1/2 to 3/6) online for about 2 years, but haven't ever been to any of the Detroit casinos. I'm thinking about heading down I-75 for one of the Greektown $100 SNGs soon though. I try to stay out of the Detroit city limits as much as possible (for obvious reasons), but I've heard the SNGs there are pretty weak, so I'll be giving them a try soon. Anybody here ever play at the cardroom in Sarnia? What's it like in terms of quality of play, number of games, wait times, etc.?

Livonia represent!! :-)

I play on Party......$0.50/$1.00 and $1.00/$2.00 mainly....I do also like to hit both Motor City and Greektown for some 3/6 and 5/10.

Quick question for my fellow Detroiters: rumor had it that Windsor was opening up a room by November 1st. They are going to put it in the old Italian restaurant space on the 1st floor next to the fountain. Anybody else hear of any other info?

I used to live in Detroit. I'm sure there are a few 2+2ers there, but not many of them are really grasping much of the information available on this site.

Ya, I also heard that Windsor is getting a pokerroom but I don't know any details about it. Hopefully it will be good.

My cousin works at MGM (sometime pit boss, sometime high-limit room dealer), and I keep razzing him about MGM having no room (moreso after Motor City opened theirs).

He mentioned the Windsor room, too. I thought that was cool until I realized that I doubt the travel hassle with the border is worth it with 3/6 on this side. Although maybe it will mean a shorter wait on this side.

The games at Greektown are excellent. I play 5-10. Loose and pretty easy to read. Online I play exactly the opposite. Poker Stars. Nearly always leans tight.

[/ QUOTE ] Haven't played it yet, but I have some info about it. Mostly 5/10 (Canadian) during the week and 10/20 Friday & Saturday. They have 5 or 6 tables, non-smoking I believe, hour or so wait times, but they allow you to call ahead.

I'm trying to make the move to B&M, and I might do it soon, but my brother is the only other person I know that really knows how to play, and he doesn't have a bankroll.
