10/20 6-person table on absolute poker (sorry no pretty hand history...if absolute offers hand histories, i haven't seen how to request them)

i'm in the sb with Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif9/images/graemlins/heart.gif
everyone folds to me, and i call
bb is a pretty straightforward player...he bets when he has something, and calls on a draw, etc.
bb checks

flop: 894 rainbow
i bet, bb calls

turn: 9
i check, bb bets, i call

river: j

i bet, bb folds

i was unsure whether to check-raise the turn. should i have? my worry was that he'd fold right there, but if i just called the turn he might call one bet on the river.

i'd appreciate comments on all aspects of this hand. thanks in advance.

If everyone folds you, then i think a Preflop raise is in order. Check-raise the turn, and bet the river if you can obviously.
