PL BB 87d

Poker Stars PL real $$ .25/.50 stakes.


I'm in BB with 87d...4 flat callers to me. I check. Flop comes 876 rb.....What is your play here?

I'd bet to pick up the pot if I were a little later.


But in the BB I wouldn't like to try and bet out four limpers. I'm sure SOMEBODY would call and don't know whether I would be able to lead at the pot again on the turn. If I was sat there with T9 I might well flat call - and it'd be nice if you bet into me on the turn.

I would bet out the pot on the flop. Although I agree with Toffee that your position sucks, I think it is best to find out where you are and you don't want to give a free card. If you are raised then you need to play the player. Would he raise with a made straight? Would he raise with a set? Does he raise with draws?


On the turn with only 1 caller I probably bet out the pot again although it depends on the player. With multiple callers then checking or betting 1/2 pot may be okay.


You don't mention stack sizes which would make a difference as well.
