MP2 is slightly loose agressive both pre and post flop

I prefer check/call, check/call, bet rather than check/call, check/call, check/raise. The K is a really tough card for a checkraise, and I really don't like it.

What value is there in raising that river? Does he bet pocket pairs the whole way frequently?

With the king coming, I'd prefer for 1 or 2 bets to go in on the river, not 0 or 3.

I don't think there's much value in checkraising this river. I would either bet out or check-call again. I lean towards check-call because I think he will bet more hands than he calls with and you avoid getting raised by a better hand.

I think your line has a little more merit against a total maniac but with someone who is only "slightly" lag I think it's overboard.

Why would you not check-raise this flop? Are we positive that he's holding a better Ace? If you're going to assume that, why not fold?

I don't understand why this is played so passively -- we called, and we flopped our A...(and obviously some good players agree with the passive flop play). Can someone enlighten me? If we don't want to be aggressive when we flop an A, why are we calling?

Something strange going on, this is a very old thread and I can't see any others.

On your point, sometimes its good to give an over-aggressive player a bit more rope. It calms them down a bit if they think you might slowplay them out of chips (in this case we are assuming our AJ is going to be good enough).
