If the terrorists have a preference as to who gets elected in the US, would it be very difficult for them to manipulate the elections through their actions? For instance, a broadcast showing Bin Laden alive and well and taunting the US could be a blow to the Bush campaign, whereas a terrorist attack just before the election could cause people to rally around the President. Any thoughts?
