View Full Version : So this is a new one: slow payment TO the casino

There have been lots of stories around here about how long cashouts take, but how about this: I made a deposit through IGMPay four days ago, $ appeared instantly at the casino and I've been playing with it since, but as of 5 minutes ago it's still in my bank account.

Think something's amiss or can it just take this long to actually clear?

If it's not your first few deposits, they actually loan you the money with no interest. However you can request a cash out but the your money won't get back to the bank until Party first clears it.

i.e. I deposit $500 via IGM-Pay and 8 hours later I cash out $800 to IGM-Pay. Your bank account will still show -$500 and then +$800, it may take up to a week before it shows.

what is "e.g." short for?
I'm a swede so please don't call me a stupid 12-year old illiterate. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

i.e. = "that is", as in further explanation

e.g. = "example"

in many cases, either would work

E.g. is actually read, "for example."

Actually this has got little to do with knowing English, as both "i.e." and "e.g." are abbreviations of Latin phrases.

i.e. stands for "id est," meaning "that is."
e.g. stands for "exampli gratia," meaning "for example."

They are NOT interchangeable:

'1001', i.e. '9'

but

[x1, x2,....xn], e.g. x2

ok, thank you for telling me. I had figured e.g. meant something with example but couldn't see what the "g" stood for. Stupid latin :P
