home game no limit he.

with fairly deep stacks, what's the point of making a pot size bet?

if you know ur opponent is on a draw, would you rather bet the pot on flop and play the turn accordingly depending on the card...

wouldn't you rather just go all in on the flop and make him pay through his butthole to draw?

[assume there are two other players to act and you hold at least top pair, decent to top kicker, or a vulnerable two pair]

If you _know_ he's on a draw you bet fairly big on the flop and then push allin or fold on the turn depending on what shows up.

If you *know* he is on a draw and you close the action sure go ahead. The reason you don't really do it is that you don't *know* he is on a draw. When he takes your whole stack with what you *thought* was a draw you'll understand.

If there are people to behind you and you go all-in on the flop for much more than the pot it is suicidal, especially with the hands you describe. The reason you don't overbet the pot in No Limit is that only someone who can beat you will call.
