Wondering if this was the correct thing to do.

Holding wired 4s in late position, I have 715 chips with 25/50 blinds. I limp, sb completes, and bb (quiet player unknown with 1600 in chips) raises to 150.

I FOLDED, should I have called?

No. With a low pair like this you're basically hoping to flop a set, which'll happen about 12% of the time. I.e., not often enough considering how much you must call compared to the size of your stack.
I think this is a good time to fold 44 in the first place, especially if you're the first in.

Definite fold, at the 25/50 blind level I usually fold mini pairs right off the bat b/c way more pots are raised at this level than the first two, it becomes too expensive to try and flop a set. Once the blinds get to 50/100 it becomes worthwhile to raise with small pairs to steal the blinds(not if there are many limpers to you or the blinds are way loose, its situational obviously). But here I would fold.

Fold preflop (or if first in raising is also ok)

Thanks, I guess I wasn't totally off, maybe I should've folded or raised rather than limp being first in.
