What kind of bankroll would be required to play $100 max 1-2 blinds no limit? I understand limit is around 200-300 big bets just wondering what people thought the going rate would be on NL games.

NL isnt really my game but I would say good rule of thumb would be like 20 max buy ins.

depends your style of play and the people at the table. If passive players you really only need to buyin 25x bb for a 1-2 nl game, and keep another 50x bb on the side for 2 more buyins. Your going to see cheap flops, not going to need alot of money to see the flop and easy double up with passive players which will be more induced to call with weaker hands given your a low stack buying into the game.

he is talking about total bankroll for a game. i hear from some decent nl players 20 buy ins for a level. may i also suggest you post this in the small stakes nl/pl forum. you will get better answers there. we dont really know how to play poker here in the zoo.

At least 10 max buy in, somewhere around 25 buy ins to be safe.

20-25 buyins is nice. I currently am doing 40 buy ins even though the most # of buy ins i've ever lost in a bad streak is 9. Call me crazy but I'll never get worried about having a bad losing streak with such a deep bankroll!

Yeah my worst losing streak is 9.5 buyins too at NL 50.
