I didn't know what to do on the turn, but I thought folding and raising were both worse.

I like 3-betting or folding preflop. I may defend the blinds or over-coldcall with KQs, but I don't like to coldcall wiht ti, especially against an unkown raiser. KQs is a great raising hand that does well multiway but sucks when up against many legitimate raising hands (AA, AK, AQ, QQ, KK).

The flop check put you in a tricky spot on the turn and allowed UTG+1 to make a move. I don't think UTG+1 has a J, MP1 looks like adraw and BB could be stealing (or he missed a flop check-raise that is unlikely to be a J) so why not 3-bet? Calling seems bad, you are way ahead or way behind without much of a redraw (no straight or flush outs and a dubious 2 pair draw)
