Just want to make sure im not playing too weak. This is a clear fold right? MP2 was a little tricky so there could be an argument for calling but being out of position i figured it was just useless to call.

I'd bet out and fold to a substantial raise.

I would've bet the flop, and if raised lay it down.

How much would you recommend betting on this type of flop.. .around pot? What happens if im called. Do i continue firing out of position?

if this were a more reasonable pot, i'd bet/fold to a raise. here there are 7 people seeing the flop, so it's not too unreasonable that someone could have a 5. i like the line of check/fold.

one reason i don't like betting out here is that you won't know what to do if you're called. it's very common for someone to smoothcall here with a 5, but a call could also mean 98, 67 (a gutshot), 33 (underpair), etc., and you won't know where you stand.

Exactly! I could easily get trapped in this hand....
