SHFL vs. ITG

SHFL has done well since David Sklansky recommended it. But ITG has had comparable performance. Was the recommendation based on the merits of the company or of the industry?

O.K. In this case comparing it to an industry average (including Interactive Gaming Technology and Williams) might be more appropriate than comparing to the S&P500 or cash. Indeed, hedging with these companies would reduce risk and allow you to take a bigger bet. This is important because these companies also did well, but not as well as SHFL.
