This hand was played in the midst of a 120 BB downswing, so I fear I had been getting weak-tight.

BB is a super fishy surprise: 75% VPIP, 1% PFR. He bets or auto-calls down with any piece of the board or even A high. MP2 seems to play a few too many hands, but he's only been here for a couple orbits.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Eric is Button with Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
3 folds, MP2 raises, 1 fold, Eric 3-bets, 1 fold, BB calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players)
BB checks, MP2 checks, Eric checks.

The odds of them both folding here are precisely a Bajillion to 1, so there's not much point in betting. Right?

Turn: (4.75 BB) 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
BB checks, MP2 checks, Eric bets, BB calls, MP2 folds.

Both opponents would have bet by now they had a pair. BB will call with Ax, so this is a value bet.

River: (6.75 BB) 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
BB checks, Eric checks.

Did I miss a bet here?

Final Pot: 6.75 BB
Main Pot: 6.75 BB, between Eric and BB.[/color

You could bet in hopes of buying a freebie.

With 3 players, and you 3-betting pre-flop, you should take a shot at the flop. Seeing how it was checked around twice, the bet on the turn seems good. You got rid of the other preflop raiser and seem to be left with only a calling station. If he'll call with AX, why not bet the river as well?

Bet the flop. You 3-bet preflop, so you ought to show strength on the flop.

Bet the flop. You're ahead of both players. BB has crap, and it doesn't look like MP2 has a pocket pair. The pot is big enough, you'd be happy to win it here.

Bet the turn (as you did). Checked around twice really means that they've completely missed. BB, as per your read, calls along because he has a draw to two pair.

Bet the river. You still have the best hand. You can't be afraid of the backdoor flush draw, or the 3, or the 7s (still). If BB has something and has refused to bet it this long, be glad, because he's definitely gonna make you some money tonight.

Bet that flop and take it down right there.
