Alas, I beleive I still have a bounty on my head as I was not available last week. Unfortunately -- ok actually it is very fortunate -- I will not be playing tomorrow. I have decided to take the day off from poker and will be picking apples and pumpkins with my boys. So, here is the deal, I will hand out $10.00 to the bubble loser. Whoever just misses the money will get their $10.00 entry fee back from me. I wont get to see results untill 19:00 or so and will transfer to his/her account then.

Sorry I missed...just checked into the Venetian...played 4/8 last nite at Mesquite...hilarious game, but I got drunk and went back to about even after 6 hours play haha...will try a few games here next 4 nites ....laters

Got 5th. Was kinda hoping for higher after being 2nd with 7 left, but ran into a bad string of hands, and some of my steals got called/raised. Busted on AQo vs 66 being the short stack after the bubble. Pretty good for my first time I think.

Due to popular request (well a few asking) next weeks tourny has been upped to a 20+2 buy in to give some more cash to the lucky winners.....

Can all those agreeing or not to the increase please post what limits you think we should be playing at...

I think $10+1 is fine and that's what I'd prefer but whatever you guys decide.

Actually, $10+1 is in the spirit of 2+2 events.

If the Sunday game wants to go their own couse, I really don't care, myself. If the goal is to attract new 2+2'rs to participate, then keep the buy-in the same.

If you raise the buy in, the game will die off within two weeks. For many players, $11 is a normal buy in or more; and for others, anything more could be better spent playing their usual crowd for +EV. All kidding aside, $10+1 for 2+2 events.

Mmmm seems like more votes for keeping at $10 and raising it at this point.
TBH that is my preference. I think that getting new 2+2ers along is more important than the final cash win in this game. There is plenty of other games for that!

UKGazz, I think that is a good decision. I don't play $10 except for this but I enjoy them a lot! I usually play $50 or $100 but play these games to meet posters. I think higher limits might kill the game and that would be too bad.

In addition to posts here, I have received two e-mails from players who felt the $22 was too high for newbies. (Both of whom were in the game Sunday and are relative newbies.) I did suggest they post when you make an announcement for next week's game.

I have had a few messages as well.....

I have modded the tourny back to a $10+1 and we will keep it at that although there is nothing to stop there being higher entry ones as well as pot limit / heads up tournys or anything else that people want.

Would be a shame to kill it after such a good turn out last week.....

I am more than happy to set up a bigger one if people want them but I think that this should be in addition to the usualy Sunday $10 one though......

I agree. Don't forget, I can set them up, too, if you need backup sometime.

I think staying with $11 is a good move based on the input i have seen.

I could also set up tourneys if you needed backup.

Here's a thought... How about a battle of the tournament pimps? We get Stars to sponser a multi for everyone with permission to set up private tourneys. That way we could thrash some RGPr's for a change...
