Quick Pointspread Question: -7 or -6.5 ?

How much is the extra 1/2 point worth from -7 to -6.5?
As an example, this week we have the Packers -7 at 10/11.
[ I'm English, think this translates to -110 in US speak.]
How much would you pay for -6.5?
Ballpark figure anyone?

However it's not all that logical... 2/3 is actually called 4/6

Ladbrokes were going 8/11 ( -137.5 i think?).
Looked very skinny to me, but i know nothing about the game.
Would have thought this sort of question has been highly researched, but couldnt find anything..
NFL is the only game where it seems like im gambling nowadays - like being 18 again /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
If i did this sort of work myself it would take the fun out of sunday night.
