According to the slide rule guys required bankroll for any limit game is 300 big bets. $6,000 for 10-20, $12,000 for 20-40. This is money beyond living expenses. I have a $28,000 bankroll and play 10-20, 15-30 and some 20-40 but mostly 10-20 because this is where I feel comfortable and I win more than I need to cover monthly expenses .

Emotional bankroll is also a condideration . According to the above bankroll requirements I could afford to play 40-80 but emotionaly I can't handle lossing a $2,000 pot to a two outer and still stay in control of myself.

Another consideration, the games do get tougher as on moves up.

300 big bets is the twoPlusTwo published figure, but I think you may find yourself more comfortable with 600 big bets. It depends upon your skill and who you are playing and how you handle the swings. The larger your bankroll the longer it takes to double it.

Good luck!

thats a figure (300) that gives you a good playing amount to determine(get a feel) if you can beat the games. not the amount you need to stay in action at that level forever without getting stuck that much. as you play and win that figure goes way up till you get out of the danger range. if you always take out winnings and leave yourself with just 300 bets, sinora.
