Have you got any hand histories?

58% in the top 4 at a 10 man table is not bad at all. In fact, it is quite good. Rearrange the distribution up top, and your ROI will skyrocket.

Are you going out 4th because you are low on chips when you get there? Or because you are too aggressive? Or calling too much?

For me, the bubble is a raise (usually all-in) or fold situtation. Even in the small blind in an unraised pot, never just complete the blind. Waste no chips. You have to put pressure on people at the money line and steal some blinds until someone else busts out.

On the other hand, your goal should always be Top 2, not Top 3. 3rd place doesn't pay for your next entry fee. I want to be freerolling in the next tourney.

On 9/28/04, I dedicated myself strictly to SNGs, and started keeping records like you. Except I play at Stars, which has 9 man tables. So far, so good.

yah...you gotta work on that bubble.

as it stands, you're BARELY winning more then your average 1-3rd place finishes (I'd expect any given player to be 10 percent in each category average, with better players doing more, and bad players doing fewer) -

and you're obviously doing something right with %58 in the top 4 - but we want to see that almost %50 in the top 3

right now, I'm doing about 50% in the money in my 30 sng's, but with 9 handed tables...I'd be averagine 33%, not 30 - so it's not as impressive as 50% on Party.

yes, I agree with most of the posters here, if you could improve bubble play, you can be on another level. Improving bubble-> ITM increases-> ROI increases.
I have similar percentage finishes around 4-7. /images/graemlins/cool.gif
