No flush draw, 10 isnt the best kicker, and you're drawing to overcards that probably have AK's and the like.

But thats just me :P

I think there is a time when you can determine that you're beat. You don't have a draw...you don't have a draw to a draw...if a 10 comes you probably still aren't winning, and if a K comes you probably still aren't winning. The raise here preflop is fine, but when you got 3-bet, that was probably an indication that you were a) behind or b) dominated. When the board comes giving you NOTHING, there is a time to pack up your bags and go home.

Are big pots sexy? Yes, especially when we're a major reason why they're there.

Ed Miller says don't fold for one bet more...which is true, but generally requires you to have either something or a draw to something...you have neither. I strongly consider folding this on the flop...probably end up calling, and then most definitly enter check/fold mode - someone is going to be calling you down with at least Ace high in a pot this big.

Arturius - I like the way you think...We said the same thing, yours was just about 1/10 the length...I'm jealous :P

I would probably done the same as you. As you know you are geting 22:1 to call on the flop, that's an OK call. If you are lucky you have 6 outs but I would only count the T:s as outs. Still 22:1 is ok to call such a draw.

I wouldn't have raised pre-flop to begin with. I would have folded the flop as well. You don't really have any type of draw at all. If the K or T of spades comes, that could complete a flush. And you are probably dominated with both cards anyway, especially the K.

I see your points ArturiusX, and Ajax410's points now. Thanks for the input.
