Wouldn't surprize me at all if Dubya was ultimately behind it....

Getting mighty desperate perhaps?
The equipment is surely going to be used for a better purpose. [silver lining!] LOL!

Probably a cover up of some kind, wouldn't surprize me at all.

This reminds me of the time Karl Rove 'found' a bug in his office right before a Texas gubernatorial debate... later turned out Rove himself had placed it and then called a press conference. This is well within the typical MO of Rove and co.

Also, Watergate was a national headquarters if I'm not mistaken. And the information was being removed in a stealthy way that was supposed to prevent anyone from knowing it happened. Why would nefarious Democratic operatives make their strategy so obvious? Maybe they were trying to give Bush something to complain about other than his poor command of the English language.

Based on the replies in this thread, it appears liberals have a "the ends justify the means" approach to dirty tricks.

It is Ok for Democrats to do dirty tricks, burgle, steal, lie because it is in the name of liberalism.

Nothing was learned about the consequences of bad basic morals from the Clinton administration I see.

Is there nothing immoral about accusing someone of a crime without evidence? Even for you, the king of trumped up evidence?

Shame on you, Mr. President. You shouldn't let last night's poor performance worry you. The polls show it probably won't make any difference. People know where you stand.

Ok, I'm not a liberal, thanks for reading my various lengthy and detailed posts on the subject, you little troll.

Once again, I didn't defend the actions if they were those of the DNC or its operatives. I pointed out that it was extremely unlikely that they were responsible for the burglary, and that it is not similar in scope, method, or importance to Watergate, and that your own staff has a history of fabricating similar events. So how exactly did I write this whole thing off in the great name of liberalism?

No, but you were quite quick to suggest that this is all Karl Rove's doing. Reread your post, you jump in to blame the victim - hardly objective.

My post that you replied to was a discussion of all the replies in the thread, not just yours alone.

Son, I was "there" for the real Watergate. This is no Watergate.

Once you've retired, I have some stories to tell you. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Nah, that lusty Clinton stuff is a MAN thing...
Our society is partially to blame as well... but I'd rather not get into a long diatribe on that subject.
