Just remind me that swings of -$400 are no big thang over the course of a few hundred hands when 4 table multi-tabling 2/4

I'm supposed to be going out for a nice dinner with my girl and need to lift my spirits.

Thanks.

I lost $600 yesterday on party 2-4. It happens.
$600 is my second biggest downswing in a single day.
I probaly have 2 or 3 100bb swings a month. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

Yes, completely normal. There's a reason why Mason recommends a 300bb bankroll.

The only time I tried 4-tabling 2/4, I instantly dropped 40 BBs.

Yep, it happens.

I play in a live 2-4, hold'em-hi-low stud rotation game two nights a week. The players are horrible and I average over $10 per hour playing just 20 hands per hour. This is over the course of 3 years. Just last month I got taken for $320 in a single session. Won 1 and 1/2 hands in 7 hours. Both were small pots. I thought this was impossible, but apparently not. I made that loss back in the 2 sessions, but boy was I down that night. Knowing that I am a winning player (via my Excel spreadsheet), helps me walk off these losses. If you know you are a winning player then hold your head up and chalk this up to a bad run of cards.
