hello all, i was wondering if anyone knew if any of the vegas rooms use props or schills? Looking at some of the many small rooms,, as they are probably more inclined to use them. Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks, arod4276

As per nevada state gaming law, the use of shills and props is perfectly legal and will be identified upon request by a patron.

So all you have to do is ask the brush or at the desk and they'll tell you if any are in use at the time.

Luxor does. When I was there in April there were times where 3 people at the table were props.

What are casino's looking for in a prop/shil?

Just someone who knows how to play the game, or someone who knows how to play, but is also very personable and adds to the atmosphere, etc?

Why would a small room use a prop? I know big rooms do to keep the tables full or to start a new game.
