Opinions please! Custom Inlay suggestions....

Alright, I'm ordering 600 custom inlay chips with edge spots from pokerchips.com (finally made the call today).

Currently, they are working on the proof for the custom inlay. The way I think I want it is to have text at the top of the inlay "Deuces Wilde" or "Jokers Wilde" because my last name is Wilde, kind of a play on words I guess. With a couple playing cards offset to the left center, with the denomination offset center right.

Not sure about text on the bottom.

Thoughts on the upper text? Stupid, cool, clever, silly?

BTW I'm going with the A mold as opposed to the horsehead, why is the horsehead so popular??

imperial blue with white edgespot $1 (100 chips)
mandarin red with arc yellow edge $5 (200 chips)
green with dayglow green edge $25 (200 chips)
black with lavender edge $100 (100 chips)

I think it's a great idea. This is clever, and it makes the chips personal. Deuces or jokers are both good choices. "One Eyed Jacks Wilde" is a bit too long ya think?

I thought that was a fine idea. But, hey, look at my avatar.

The black with lavender should be very nice.

Making a pun on Wilde seems a fine idea. I would not worry about bottom text.

I like the idea. How about Jokers (or Deuces- I think both are good and glad I don't have to decide between them) across the top and Wilde across the bottom? Or maybe the year at th bottom.

Clever! I definitely like the play and agree it personalizes the chips well.

How 'bout using just "Wilde cards" under a fan of your favorite/lucky hand... or having a ring around a graphic with "The cards are always Wilde" or "Where the cards are always Wilde" or "First Name's Poker Room" on top with any of the above below or even "All Wildes are Jokers" or "All Wildes are Kings"... or "Wilde Cards Rule"... just some suggestions.

I prefer Joker's Wilde as opposed to Deuces Wilde unless 2's have particular relevance.

Post some pics of your choices if you get a chance.

Be aware that pokerchips.com's color chart is not very accurate. I placed a big order with them and had to get 2 denominations re-done.

One other thought - the lavender is very dark and may fade into the black - look at black with hot pink.

How about - "Everything is Wilde"?

There are alot of good puns with wild in them:

"Wilde Turkey Casino"? with some drunk ass turkey on it?

"Call of the Wilde" - wolf paw with an ace under it? or dogs playing poker!

"Cards gone Wilde" - Card with boobs? /images/graemlins/smile.gif
