Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed)

BB hadn't been at the table very long, and was unknown to me. Also, I didn't realize at the time that UTG+1 was a poster, or else I would probably have raised preflop.

Preflop: chesspain is SB with 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, A/images/graemlins/spade.gif. UTG+1 posts a blind of $2.
<font color="666666">1 fold</font>, UTG+1 (poster) checks, <font color="666666">6 folds</font>, chesspain completes, BB checks.

Flop: (3 SB) 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif, A/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="blue">(3 players)</font>
<font color="CC3333">chesspain bets</font>, <font color="CC3333">BB raises</font>, UTG+1 folds, <font color="CC3333">chesspain 3-bets</font>, <font color="CC3333">BB caps</font>, chesspain calls.

Turn: (5.50 BB) 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
chesspain checks, BB checks.

River: (5.50 BB) 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
<font color="CC3333">chesspain bets</font>, <font color="CC3333">BB raises</font>, chesspain calls.

Final Pot: 9.50 BB
<font color="green">Main Pot: 9.50 BB, between chesspain and BB.</font>

Raise preflop. Really a big mistake to just complete. You want at least one of the two blinds out there to fold, and you might get them both out and have a nice little steal. I'm not a big fan of checking rivers, but this is a great check to induce a bluff kind of spot.
