Down to 2, 100+9 S+G. Blinds 50/100 (A real shootout early)

Villian 5500 Me 4500.

Villian in SB makes it 200. Looking at 99 in the BB I raise it to 600.

Flop QT5r. How do you play it from here?

He cks, I bet 1k. I'm not sure about my play here. He goes into the tank and calls. Pot 3200. Turn brings a J. I push, he visits the tank again and calls with KJo. River no help.

Thinking about it now. Perhaps I should have pushed the flop. The 1200 is worth taking now, and I can't feel comfortable with anything other than a total brick, I really don't know where i'm at here. A push here makes him fold any draw and perhaps even AT and KT. All I know is that I did a great job committing myself to the hand.

He raised and then called your reraise. Typically this means he has high cards or a PP. Once the flop comes with 2 overcards, I would be hesitant to put any more money in the pot. If one overcard comes then it would be easier to bet.
