Hi, which one I should follow generally when playing in 0.5/1 and 1/2? I currently use the tight preflop chart of SSH and my VPIP% is ~15, VPSB% ~24.3 and PFR% is ~6.5. I think I should loosen up?

Depends on the game you're in, but SSHE tells you what's tight and loose (relative to SS games) by the average number of players to see the flop. Tight is 3-5, Loose is 6-8.

Hey raccoon, welcome to the forums.

SSHE advocates playing with the loose chart when first sitting down until proven otherwise.

Good luck!

Obviously the tight chart should be followed? And for example, in late position I can add some additional hands if there are 4 or more limpers? More suggestions?

My experience on PP .5/1 is that most tables fit into the tight definition. In fact, it is pretty uncommon for me to find a .5/1 table on PP in which there are consistently 6 or more people in the flop. 4 to 5 callers to the flop is the average I have found in the last couple months of playing.

On PP I always use the loose chart. I may not play some of the marginal hands on that chart if there's a maniac or TAG on my left, though. Still, I advocate using the loose chart as long as you know you can outplay your opponents after the flop.
