Party $3/6.

I have 77 in EP.

UTG and UTG+1 limp. I limp. Two more come in behind me. SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: K 6 2 rainbow.

Checked to me. I bet. Folded to UTG+1 who calls.

Turn: 7. Ding!

UTG+1 checks, I bet, he raises, I 3-bet, he caps. WTF???

River: Q.

He bets, I raise, he 3-bets, I cap, he calls.

Any complaints?

Guy.

nope. if he limped in with KK or QQ, good for him. more likely 66 or 22 though.

Set over set is cool as long as you have the over set.

I do the same as you.

I am almost willing to bet that he had KQ

actually, you are probably right about 66 or 22... I read it too fast...

You're beat by one hand - KK - because queens wouldn't give that much turn action with a king on the flop that was bet.

You played the hand perfectly.

Yeah--I doubt a player passive enough to not raise KQ UTG+1 preflop is capping the turn with it.

I play this one the same and hope my opponent didn't get frisky and whiff on a limp-reraise preflop with KK. Screw it, I'll guess exactly 66.

Why thank you bison.

I just wanted to check that nobody slows down at any point on the last two streets.

Naturally I wouldn't have asked if he hadn't shown me KK.

Thanks to everyone for confirming that I hadn't lost my mind.

Guy.
