Do you ever check?

If you do, what are the weakest hands you raise with?

Assume a full 10 person table and no read on the button or blinds.

If the button and/or blinds are loose, I'll check hopeless hands. I think people defend even more willingly against a poster's raise, and crap hands just aren't worth getting involved with.

Yes I check, but it should more depend on who you are against than what you have. The problem is when it is folded to me in the cutoff, I usually have no (or limited, although this is improving) data on the button and the blinds. I raise around 80% of my hands, basically anything other than fairly hopeless hands.
