PLO ten and fifteen blinds. Six see the flop for $60 each. Flop comes:

3 3d 7d

Initial raiser bets $250 on the button. SB checkraises the maximum. Big blind hesitatingly calls (no act) and moves all in. Everyone else folds. Both BB and SB each have around $1200. BB and SB are both tough players. BB is very tight. SB plays very well, but is much more aggressive. SB has A3XX (sorry, don't remember what they were) and BB has K3 with a king diamond draw. What does everyone think about the big blinds play? Is he justified to play his hand or should he have folded?

Thanks,

Bruce

with K,3 the BB can see that SB must have one of only 10 cards to have him beat after the flop 4 aces, 3 each of other 2 cards in BB's hand.....thus he has a very good chance of being in the lead after the flop. therefore not a bad bet

ADD to that he has some outs if he is beaten after flop ..we don't know how many because you did not identify full hand of each player...if his flush draw will win for him (probably) he is small underdog

since SB was aggressive player, BB could decide he actually had best hand, so ???

on the other hand, SB could have flopped a full by having pocket pair that matched one of the other cards on the flop.

I can't say BB's play was bad, but he could have lost only 60 in this hand...that's where I would have stopped when faced with the 250 bet
